Role description
Position details:
This is a part time temporary position 0.4 commencing 01 January 2027 with the possibility of becoming ongoing. The position is two days per week and can be negotiated by the successful candidate.
Mary's Mount Primary School is a single stream co-educational Primary School positioned in the Hills of Perth and only 30 minutes from the Perth CBD. Mary’s Mount was opened in 1921 by the Sisters of St Joseph of the Apparition. The school caters for children from Three Year Old Kindergarten to Year Six and has a strong relationship with the local parish and wider community.
The Social Worker is responsible for the implementation of initiatives aimed at promoting and protecting student wellbeing through prevention and intervention, and working with students and families requiring support. The Social Worker works as part of a team to empower and enable all students to flourish in an inclusive, engaging and mutually respectful environment.
