Role description


This is a six (6) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027 with possible extension (6 months) and/or permanency

The Role

The Deputy Principal, in consultation with the leadership team, will lead improvement, innovation and change in student services within the Roebuck PS context. The successful applicant will ideally display the ability to align the Department’s strategic direction with the school’s educational goals, vision and values, promoting an inclusive environment where every student feels safe, connected and supported to succeed.

A key focus of the role will be leading complex case management, working collaboratively with students, families, staff and external agencies to coordinate support for students with diverse learning, behavioural, social and emotional needs. The successful applicant will ideally display strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to develop, implement and review individual support and risk management plans, facilitate case conferences and monitor the impact of interventions on student engagement, attendance and wellbeing.
