Role description
The Opportunity
Star of the Sea offers an exciting opportunity for motivated Education Support Officers to join our school.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Catholic ethos of Star of the Sea.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, co-educators and allied health professionals as part of the school's support programs.
- Provide supervision and care for all students, including those with identified special needs, complex behaviours and Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL).
- Actively participate in school activities, staff meetings and professional learning opportunities.
- Use restorative practices and processes to support positive relationships and resolve conflict situations.
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the Co-Principals

- Demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role requirements.
- Establish and maintain collaborative and supportive professional relationships with students, staff and families.
- Be committed to inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs.
- Be willing to undertake all required screening and compliance checks.
