Role description
The Personalised Learning Support Officer is accountable for providing routine classroom support and provide feedback for teachers. The incumbent is an active and mobile presence in designated learning areas providing support to students with literacy, numeracy, functional needs and global competencies and capabilities under close direction of teaching staff and the personalised learning team.
They contribute to the care, general wellbeing and safety of students under the personal oversight and ultimate responsibility of teaching staff. The incumbent is expected to follow established school policies, procedures and guidelines. The Personalised Learning Support Officer is expected to have some knowledge of relevant school environments, work disciplines and education practices and procedures with the expectation to contribute to the overall site high performing culture, quality, productivity and standards targeting goal attainment. Please note the salary amount may differ from that advertised. Salary is dependent upon your current employment status with the Department for Education, tenure and hours per week. The salary stated is based on an employee working 52 weeks per annum, full time equivalent. The successful applicant will be employed under the appropriate mode of employment.
