LEARNING SUPPORT OFFICER

Christ the Priest school community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.

Christ the Priest is currently seeking a Learning Support Officer (LSO). The successful applicant will be required to 0.39 FTE over 3 days. This is an ongoing position. This specific role will be assisting the classroom teacher and supporting the learning needs of our students. The successful applicant will be required to work with a diverse range of learning and health needs including, but not limited to toileting and administering medication.

The applicant needs to be;

• be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices
• have read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in the Child Safety Code of Conduct and Child Safety Policy
• have read, and be aware of, the attached statement on the 'Principles Regarding Catholic Education'
• trained with Certificate III or IV qualification in Educational Support or equivalent (preferred)
• hold a current Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
