People & Culture Advisor / HR Advisor

NT Christian Schools is seeking a People & Culture Advisor / HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team and support our schools and departments across the Northern Territory.

This is an opportunity to contribute to an organisation where people are at the heart of what we do. Working closely with school leaders, managers and staff, you will provide practical and professional HR support across the employee lifecycle while helping foster safe, cohesive teams.

About this role

The People & Culture Advisor / HR Advisor will provide practical advice and support across a broad range of human resources and employee relations matters, including workforce management, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR administration. Working closely with leaders and employees across NT Christian Schools, you will provide clear and timely advice, support the consistent application of HR processes and policies, and contribute to a positive, safe and cohesive workplace culture. The successful applicant will be a people focused HR professional who demonstrates strong communication skills, sound judgement, confidentiality and the ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse organisation.
