Director of People and Culture

We are inviting applications for the position of Director of People and Culture to join our Executive team and play a vital role in shaping the College’s workforce and culture. This is a pivotal position that provides strategic leadership and trusted advice to the Principal and Executive leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic workforce initiatives that align with the College’s mission and values.
• Lead organisational design and change management efforts to enhance effectiveness and adaptability.
• Oversee policy development, compliance, and talent management processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through effective people and culture strategies.
• Proactively develop good work design to ensure employee engagement and wellbeing.

Selection Criteria:

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ, active participation in a local church, and support for the College’s vision.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications such as an MBA in HR (preferably) and extensive experience in a people and culture leadership role, preferably in an educational setting.
• Demonstrated experience in workforce strategy development, organisational design, policy development, and change management.
• Strong skills in leadership, planning, and delivering results, with a commitment to child safety.
• Current Working with Children Check.
