Lead the next phase of wellbeing, behaviour and inclusion at one of Victoria¿s newest schools.

Narrarrang Primary School opened in 2026 on Smith Street in Port Melbourne, serving the growing Fishermans Bend community from Prep to Year 6. Now entering our second year, we are moving from establishment to disciplined implementation and improvement.

Narrarrang has a clear educational direction: purposeful, rigorous and joyful learning; evidence-informed teaching aligned with VTLM 2.0; and a commitment to strong universal practice, predictable routines and inclusive learning environments. Our purpose-built facilities include evidence-informed learning spaces, specialist areas, multiple play spaces, a playing field, outdoor areas that promote wellbeing and exploration, and community facilities.

The Role

The Leading Teacher ¿ Wellbeing, Behaviour & Inclusion will commence in Term 1, 2027. The position may be appointed at a time fraction between 0.6 and 1.0 FTE, negotiated with the preferred candidate. It includes the school¿s nominated Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader (MHWL) function. Responsibilities and allocation will reflect the successful applicant¿s time fraction, expertise and the evolving needs of our growing school.
