Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown, Sydney. At Tyndale we believe that God has given parents the responsibility for the nurture of their children according to the Word of the Lord. Tyndale is therefore committed to partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children by equipping students to be disciples of Jesus through Christ-centred Biblical education. 

About the role 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed Teachers to fulfil the role of Secondary Teacher and Stage 4 Student Formation and Wellbeing Coordinator. This position provides leadership for the holistic formation, pastoral care, wellbeing and behaviour of students in Years 7 and 8. The Coordinator fosters a Christ-centred culture in which students are known, valued and challenged to grow in faith, character, resilience, service, maturity and purpose. 

The Coordinator leads Stage 4 formation through Pastoral Care programs, student leadership, wellbeing initiatives and future-focused learning aligned with the School’s Learner Profile. A particular focus is creating authentic opportunities for students to practise character through cross-curricular learning, sustained service, collaborative projects and engagement with genuine needs in the School and wider community. 

The role leads transition from Year 6 into Year 7 and supports students through the social, emotional, spiritual and academic demands of early adolescence. It also carries significant responsibility for student discipline, including early intervention, invest…
