Leader of Learning Education Support (Leader of Learning Education Support)

Position details:
This leadership role oversees Education Support across the College, leading the Education Assistants (Special Needs) team and championing inclusion from a whole-of-school perspective. The successful candidate will embed Universal Design for Learning, oversee NCCD and SWD data and funding, develop IEPs and ITPs, case manage students, coordinate transition and post-school pathways, and liaise with families and external agencies.

The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge and experience in education support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. They will build staff capacity, advocate for students with special needs, and foster strong partnerships with families and the wider community while actively contributing to the mission and vision of Newman College and upholding the College's commitment to child safeguarding.
