Assistant (Food & Technology)

Position Details: 
We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive Food Science and Technology Assistant to join the Technology Learning Area in 2027. You will support teaching staff by preparing ingredients and materials for practical lessons, managing food stock and orders, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, and assisting with Textiles resources and equipment.
Selection Criteria:
The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of food hygiene and of sewing and textiles, with experience in a school or commercial food handling setting. They will be highly organised with strong interpersonal skills, able to multitask, use initiative and work both autonomously and as part of a team. In addition, they will actively support the Marist and Catholic ethos while upholding the College's commitment to child safeguarding.
