Teacher - K-6

We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Primary (K-6) Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Newborough Primary School (PS) caters for approximately 310 students from K-6 from the local suburbs of Karrinyup and Doubleview. Newborough PS became an Independent Public School in 2012. The school has had a proud history since it was founded in 1955. Newborough PS is a Positive Behaviour Wellbeing and Support School which promotes the behaviours of Respect, Teamwork, Kindness and Challenge Yourself. Our new Business Plan (in development) is guided by the five priority areas of Excellent Teaching & Learning, Enriched Learning Environment, Quality Leadership, Positive Wellbeing, and Meaningful Relationships & Partnerships. A range of programs are in place to support and develop the core values as outlined in the Western Australian Curriculum.
