We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or new graduate to join our HSIE team. We are seeking to appoint an innovative, enthusiastic and collaborative professional to teach Stage 4–6 HSIE. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong Christian faith, professional values and a dynamic, proactive approach to teaching and learning.

More specifically, the successful candidate will bring:

• a personal commitment to the Christian faith and active participation in a local church community
• a commitment to the vision and mission of MACC, with a willingness to support the faith formation of students
• relevant experience (or a willingness to learn) and a passion for teaching HSIE across Stages 4–6
• a commitment to academic excellence
• highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, students and parents
• an ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the continued development of the Faculty
• a comprehensive knowledge of curriculum and assessment
• relevant tertiary qualifications, including teaching qualifications
