STUDENT WELLBEING OFFICER

• Contract Position 
• Based at Strathalbyn
• 6.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
• Commencing Date: 19 October 2026
• Closing Date: 5:00 pm Monday 12 October 2026

Join a vibrant, Christian school to support student wellbeing, working with students across a range of ages from Foundation to Year 12. You will

• work as a member of the school’s wellbeing team in the delivery of student wellbeing services
• contribute to student engagement through activities and involvement in events
• provide pastoral care to students
• contribute to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

You will have the opportunity to run activities and events, support excursions, provide lunch or recess time activity groups and support individual students with regulation in the classroom. Your role also involves working closely as part of a team with our Counsellors and Pastoral Care Coordinators to outwork the school’s vision for wellbeing.

Additional requirements / information

This role is the equivalent of one day per week. The day of the week can be negotiated but Fridays would be preferred. The position includes funding by the National Student Welfare Program (NSWP) which requires specific qualifications to be held for the role. Please read the Job Specification for these criteria.
