Your New Role

This role exists to support All Saint's Tumbarumba Primary to provide a welcoming and safe place for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and their children. As the school is located in Wiradjuri (and Yorta Yorta) country, in accordance with our tradition, the term Aboriginal will be used to refer to both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, parents and carers. The Aboriginal School and Community Educator (ASCE) will engage in opportunities which support the learning, pastoral and spiritual wellbeing of Aboriginal students, their families and community. Communication with Aboriginal families, school personnel and forming partnerships with local Aboriginal organisations and Elders is essential.
