About the Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Boarding Housekeeper is responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning and sanitation services across the College's boarding facilities. You will contribute to the wellbeing of students by ensuring boarding houses remain clean, hygienic, secure and welcoming at all times.

This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable working both in a collaborative team but also independently when required.

This is a permanent part-time role, working 75 hours per fortnight. 

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain boarding facilities to a high standard
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
• Clean bathrooms, toilets and shared living spaces
• Dust and detail accommodation areas
• Remove cobwebs, graffiti and other maintenance concerns
• Clean outdoor furniture and surrounding walkways
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards and damage
• Respond to ad hoc cleaning requests as required
