Role description
St Clare’s High School, Taree is seeking a permanent full-time Careers Advisor (0.5 FTE) / Classroom Teacher (0.5 FTE) to join the team from January 2027.
Teachers from all Key Learning Areas are encouraged to apply.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to combine classroom teaching with a key role in supporting students as they explore their future pathways.
As Careers Advisor, you will work closely with students, families, staff and external partners to provide meaningful careers education, guidance and opportunities that empower students to make informed decisions about further education, training and employment.
Established in 1971, St Clare’s High School is a systemic, coeducational regional secondary school serving students from across Taree, Forster/Tuncurry, Wingham, Bulahdelah, Krambach/Nabiac and Gloucester.
The school proudly continues a tradition of quality Catholic secondary education in the Manning/Great Lakes region that began with the Sisters of St Joseph in Taree in 1926.
