Your Opportunity

Are you a passionate Secondary Teacher who is committed to inspiring young people and creating engaging learning experiences?

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Secondary Teacher – Visual Arts to join our team in a permanent part-time position working 5.5 hours per day, 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday) teaching students across Years 7 to 12.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a supportive and collaborative Secondary team while delivering high-quality teaching and learning, with a particular focus on Visual Arts.

Your Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Visual Arts learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.
• Create opportunities for students to explore, experience and develop their creative thinking and artistic skills.
• Use assessment and student data to inform teaching, monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Differentiate learning and use inclusive teaching practices to support the needs of diverse learners.
• Create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student wellbeing, participation and achievement.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, moderation and reporting processes.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with students, families and colleagues.
