Role description
As our Design and Technologies Assistant you work collaboratively and strategically with staff to ensure a consistent B-12 approach to quality assurance in operational reliability and effectiveness of the Design, and Digital Technologies centres, WHS, inclusion, safety, and culture of continuous improvement. You exercise initiative, discretion, and judgement in the management of administrative and practical requirements and physical resources of Design and Technology spaces.
You are experienced and skilled at supporting leaders, staff, and students in a range of curriculum, practical, WHS and administrative responsibilities. You demonstrate and support school values, vision improvement planning, and commitment to inclusion.
Responsible for contributing technical knowledge and support services, classroom support, ordering and preparation of materials, machine checking and minor maintenance, and stocktakes. Your skills support the development, planning, delivery, and review of innovative programs enabling positive experiences for students resulting in enhancement of successful engagement with learning.
You demonstrate professionalism, excellence, and extensive knowledge to undertake timely and effective technologies and garden services complying with departmental policies and procedures, WHS and legislative frameworks. With existing experience or prior learning to draw on, you enable development and implementation of processes and best practice, provide timely advice and work collaboratively providing information to all relevant staff.
