Metropolitan North Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division

The Community Education Counsellor provides educational counselling and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families, helping increase engagement in education and connecting students with relevant school and community support services.

The role also provides cultural awareness and protocol advice, develops support programs and training, and builds partnerships between schools, families, communities and external services. This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.69FTE), 50 hours per fortnight.
