Role description
Darling Downs South West Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division
The Youth Worker supports students experiencing educational, social, emotional or behavioural difficulties by coordinating between students, families, school staff and external welfare services.
The role focuses on attendance and engagement, identifying students at
risk of leaving school early, providing individual and family support including home visits, developing social and wellbeing programs, and maintaining records and intervention strategies.
