Warakirri College is an Independent Special Assistance secondary school supporting young people in Year 10 through to the Higher School Certificate (HSC). We are seeking a practical, hands-on and highly organised Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, presentation, safety and operation of all our campuses (Blacktown, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Redfern, Picton and Cabramatta (2027)).

Permanent – Full Time (48 weeks +4 weeks annual leave) – multi-Campus Role

About the Role

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will:

• Manage facilities, maintenance and grounds across multiple campuses
• Carry out general maintenance and handyman tasks within your skills and licensing
• Coordinate and manage contractors and essential services
• Maintain contractor registers, compliance records, asset registers and preventative maintenance schedules
• Support all campuses with maintenance audits and help them develop a safety culture
• Be a member of the College’s WHS Committee
• Lead small to medium facilities and refurbishment projects
• Support WHS compliance, inspections and hazard management
• Respond to maintenance requests and operational issues across sites
• Travel regularly between campuses and provide after-hours emergency support when required.
