CLASSROOM TEACHER

Key Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate, develop, and maintain effective teaching practices and positive relationships with students and colleagues. 
• Contribute actively to a collaborative professional culture focused on reflection, improvement and shared practice.
• Collaborativly develop, design and implement curriculum programs using the NSW curriculum and Christian Studies Curriculum Framework.
• Evaluate curriculum effectiveness, assess and monitor student learning to inform planning, and report outcomes to students, parents, and the community.
• Willingness to support the Christian ethos of Lutheran School
• Create a nurturing, ordered, and learner-centred environment that supports student engagement and achievement.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and sensitively with staff, parents and students  
• A current NSW Education Teacher registration (NESA)  
• Teaching experience preferable 
• A current First Aid Certificate
• A current NSW Working with Children Check
• As a teacher of Christian Studies, a willingness to attain the accreditation required by Lutheran Education.
