St Francis Flexible School Hobart and Wynyard offers a full-time and multiyear secondary education program for young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling. Flexible Schools respond with a variety of flexible and innovative teaching and learning practices, including vocational planning and the development of social connectedness.

St Francis Flexible School is establishing a new campus in Wynyard in 2027, initially providing a flexible and highly supported educational environment for young people in Years 7-10, before expanding to include Years 11 and 12 from 2028.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Director of Wellbeing is a key member of the Campus Leadership Team at St Francis Flexible School, North West Campus. The role provides leadership across student wellbeing, engagement, pastoral care and inclusion, supporting the development of a safe, relational and trauma-aware learning environment for young people in Years 7-10 in 2027, expanding to Years 11-12 from 2028.

As a foundation leadership position at the North West Campus, the role will also contribute to the establishment of campus systems, procedures, community partnerships and daily operations as the new campus commences in 2027.
