About the Role

The Director of Teaching & Learning is a member of the College Leadership Team and provides strategic and day-to-day leadership of teaching and learning across the College. The role works closely with the College Deputy Principal, Director of Curriculum, KLA Coordinators and teaching staff.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about great teaching and can bring energy, ideas and academic ambition to the role, while building positive relationships and bringing people along with them.

A key priority will be student growth. We want to continue strengthening the way we understand and respond to student progress, ensuring students are appropriately challenged, supported and provided with opportunities to achieve their best.

The Director will champion explicit and evidence-informed teaching, support teachers to strengthen classroom practice and lead professional learning that is practical, purposeful and connected to the needs of our students.

The role will also have an important focus on increasing pathways and opportunities for students. We want to ensure our curriculum and learning opportunities respond to different strengths, interests and aspirations, including HSC and post-school pathways.
