Drama Teacher

Commencing in Term 1, 2027, the successful applicant will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Drama programs across Years 7-12.
• Inspire students to develop creativity, communication, collaboration and performance skills.
• Plan, assess and report on student learning in line with College expectations.
• Differentiate teaching to support the diverse learning needs, strengths and interests of students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and productive learning environment.
• Support student wellbeing through positive and respectful relationships with students and families.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilise contemporary pedagogical practices and technologies to enhance student learning.
• Contribute to productions, performances and co-curricular programs.

About you:

As the successful applicant, you will demonstrate:

• Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
• Experience teaching Drama across middle and/or senior years.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to build positive and productive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to professional learning and growth.
• An understanding of the educational and wellbeing needs of adolescent girls.
