Head of Learning and Teaching - Junior School

Marist College Canberra is a Congregational Catholic school for boys (Year 4-12) operating as part of ‘Marist Schools Australia’. It enjoys an excellent reputation for its pastoral care of students, academic studies, cultural and sport pursuits. The College is driven by staff who are committed to making a difference in the education of boys.

Due to an internal promotion, Marist College is now looking for a dynamic coordinator to lead the learning and teaching of the Marist College Junior School (Years 4-6) from Term 1, 2027.  The Head of Learning and Teaching - Junior School is a middle leadership position, responsible for the implementation of the curriculum for over 450 boys. With the Head of Junior School and the Assistant Head of School - Learning and Teaching, this Learning & Teaching leader will drive the key strategic directions and initiatives of the College in improving learning and teaching in the Junior School.

All Middle Leaders at Marist College Canberra work under the direction of and in collaboration with the Headmaster and College Executive and have an important responsibility in articulating and nurturing the mission, vision and strategic directions of the College.
