Visual Arts Teacher

Star of the Sea invites applications for an enthusiastic and dedicated Visual Arts Teacher for 2 days per week commencing in the 2027 school year.  

We are seeking an educator who is passionate about fostering a love of Visual Arts through engaging and meaningful learning.

• Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity at Star of the Sea School.
• Demonstrate a deep knowledge and understanding of contemporary, innovative and inclusive pedagogies that focus on student engagement across the Arts Curriculum. 
• Foster a positive and supportive inclusive learning environment that prioritises student wellbeing and social and emotional learning, helping students develop positive behaviour, personal responsibility and success as learners.
• Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills in developing positive and collaborative relationships with learners, colleagues, parents and the broader community
• Be a dynamic and highly organised educator committed to ongoing professional growth and collaborative learning with a willingness to implement new initiatives.
