Specialist Primary Teacher

Xavier College invites applications from passionate and dedicated specialist Primary Teachers to join the founding staff of our brand new Riverlea Park (R–6) Campus, opening in January 2027.

Commencing in January 2027, part-time or full-time arrangements are negotiable for the successful candidates. We welcome applications from specialist educators for the following subjects:

• Creative and Performing Arts
• Health and Physical Education
• Languages (Auslan or Punjabi welcomed)

As a Teacher at Xavier College, you will:  

• Work collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, and parents/caregivers to facilitate positive learning by students and engage in educational reform
• Design, plan and deliver high-quality teaching that aligns with the school's curriculum and educational standards
• Tailor your teaching approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of your students
• Establish and maintain collaborative and supportive professional relationships with staff, students, and families

The successful candidate will be a passionate educator with the ability to engage students through practical and meaningful learning experiences. You will demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills, a collaborative approach to teaching and learning, and a commitment to fostering student curiosity and participation.
