PRIMARY TEACHER
Fulltime replacement teaching position

Commencing 18 January 2027 and concluding 10 December 2027

The Opportunity

The R–6 Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment in which every student is known, supported and challenged to achieve success. Working collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, students and families, the R–6 Teacher:

• Plans and delivers comprehensive, balanced and challenging learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum and responsive to students’ individual learning needs, abilities and learning styles.
• Creates a safe, welcoming, orderly and productive classroom environment by establishing positive relationships, clear expectations and effective behaviour education practices.
• Uses purposeful assessment, constructive feedback and accurate record-keeping to monitor student learning, inform teaching practice and report student progress and achievement.
• Works in partnership with colleagues, parents and caregivers to support students’ learning, wellbeing and engagement, including developing Individual Learning Plans where appropriate.
• Contributes actively to the Catholic identity, professional life and broader community of the College through collaboration, professional learning, College activities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
