Salary Range:  $123,710 - $131,628 per annum pending experience (pro rata) - Career Counsellor Teacher Salary

Join our team as a Careers Adviser (Secondary Teacher) at Mary Help of Christians Catholic College, Shaw!    

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Careers Adviser (Secondary Teacher) with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teacher to join our team. This is a permanent, part time Careers Adviser (teacher) position offering 15 hours per week.  There is the potential for a full time teaching load (additional 15 hours) based on your secondary teaching background and available school allocation.

The Career Adviser (Teacher) supports students to understand their strengths, interests and aspirations, make informed educational and career decisions, and develop the skills to manage transitions throughout life. Working with the Deputy Principal – Learning and Thinking, teachers, families and external partners, the role holder develops and delivers a coordinated career education program within the College’s Catholic mission.
