Project Support Officer

This is a permanent full-time position commencing November 2026

Statewide Services provides the services and supports required by schools to enable student achievement, with a focus on those students and schools that need it most. It encompasses both school and system-facing service delivery. While it primarily exists to support schools, it also has an important system-facing role supporting strategy and policy development.

Service Design and Support provides the shared functions and support needed to provide better services to schools. It also coordinates, implements and supports programs, initiatives, and special projects. Its purpose is to provide strategy, policy and program oversight and operational support to Statewide Services.

The Role

The Project Support Branch, Service Design and Support Directorate is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, organised, and flexible Project Support Officer with strong communication skills, to join their team.

Primarily, the Project Support Officer will provide information, advice, and support to Western Australian public schools access, understand and use the Department’s Third-Party Services Catalogue. The catalogue is one resource that supports schools to apply the Students Online in Public Schools Policy. This includes the appropriate use of third-party software applications to ensure that the disclosure of students’ personal information is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
