Education Assistant - Special Needs

We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistants - Special Needs for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Join our team as a Special Needs Education Assistant and support the Department’s objective of teaching and learning for students with special needs. You will work closely with teachers to assist students to engage in teacher-planned lessons and provide help to individuals or small groups, including with digital tasks. This assists with making learning accessible by following adjustments outlined by the teacher or in plans.
