Role description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Barker College is seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Payroll Officer to support the accurate, compliant and timely delivery of payroll for our permanent, temporary and casual employees.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role provides specialist payroll expertise across complex payroll matters, compliance, reconciliations, reporting and employee support. Working closely alongside another Senior Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity, accuracy and consistency across payroll services.

As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end processing of Barker College’s fortnightly payroll while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, CMEA Awards and employment obligations.
You will work collaboratively with the Payroll Manager and fellow Senior Payroll Officer to oversee day-to-day payroll operations, manage complex payroll matters and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
