Learning Support Coordinator

Opening in 2023 with just over 180 students from Prep to Year 7, our dynamic learning community will grow to more than 900 students next year and will continue to expand into a thriving P–12 College of over 1,200 students.

We are seeking a Learning Support Coordinator t0 provide leadership, direction and accountability for the teaching and support staff involved in learning support. The position will work closely with the Teaching and Learning Leadership team, the Heads of Junior and Middle School, and with teachers and Student Learning Assistants (SLA’s) providing learning support programs as well as direct and indirect support for students with additional needs.

The Learning Support Coordinator will have extensive experience in working with students with disability and learning needs. They will have resources and strategies to assist students and teachers to maximise the engagement and learning of individual students with a range of support needs. The Learning Support Coordinator will have the demonstrated ability to lead a team and be comfortable working across both Junior and Middle School. They will be required to guide colleagues, conduct parent meetings, engage with external therapists, organise professional learning as required for staff, oversee the collection of data and implementation of strategies and ensure all relevant students have a learning plan, program and follow-up.
