We are seeking an experienced and highly capable educational leader to join IGS as Head of Senior School, providing strategic, educational and operational leadership across Years 11 and 12. Working in close partnership with the Deputy Principal Senior School, the Head of Senior School will help shape a culture of excellence and high expectations where students are engaged, supported and motivated to achieve, thrive and flourish.

Commencing in 2027, this is a full-time position, with the leadership appointment offered for a three-year tenure. This is a broad and influential leadership role with responsibility for the effective day-to-day operation and ongoing development of the Senior School. The Head of Senior School will provide leadership across academic achievement, student wellbeing and attendance, educational programs, student pathways and mentoring, while fostering a positive, respectful and connected Senior School community. The role will also lead and support key members of the Senior School leadership team, strengthen relationships with students, staff and families, and ensure effective systems and practices underpin a safe, purposeful and high-performing learning environment.
