Director of Outdoor Education - Camp Laurence

St Laurence's College is a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition with an enrolment of approximately 2,000 boys from Years 5-12.

Our other campus, Camp Laurence, is located on five hectares on the western bank of Lake Moogerah in the beautiful Scenic Rim approximately 90 minutes from Brisbane. It is an Outdoor Educational extension to St Laurence's College in South Brisbane established in 1975. The College conducts a sequential outdoor educational program for St Laurence College students along with offering the venue and associated experiences to external schools.

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Director of Outdoor Education - Camp Laurence to commence as soon as possible (or in line with notice requirements).

The Director of Outdoor Education - Camp Laurence provides strategic and operational leadership for the Camp Laurence Outdoor Education Program (CLOEP). The Director develops coordinates, delivers and evaluates purposeful, sequential and developmentally appropriate outdoor education experiences aligned with the College's Years 5-12 curriculum, formation priorities, mission and commitment to boys' education.

The Director leads program staff, activity safety, program resources and day to day camp operations. Working closely with the Dean of Engagement and Wellbeing, the Facilities Manager and other College leaders, the Director ensures that internal and external programs are professionally planned, appropriately resourced and safely delivered.
