Role description
Amata Anangu School is a small, remote school located on Anangu Country in the north-west corner of South Australia, surrounded by the Musgrave Ranges and approximately two hours from Uluru. The school is a vibrant bilingual learning community where Anangu Educators and teachers work side by side to provide culturally responsive, inclusive and engaging learning programs.
The Administrative / Finance Officer plays a key role in the smooth and effective day-to-day operation of the school. Working closely with the Principal, staff, students, families and community, the role provides high-quality front office, finance, enrolment and administrative support. The position requires strong organisation, sound judgement, excellent communication and a high level of confidentiality.
The role will manage financial administration, student records and enrolments, correspondence, visitor processes and general office systems. The position will also support student wellbeing, first aid and school safety, and provide confidential administrative support to the Principal and leadership team. The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, manage competing priorities and work confidently in a busy and sometimes complex environment.
