The Role

As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will ideally have the capacity to create a caring, engaging and inclusive learning environment that is responsive to diverse learning needs. You would use a trauma-informed approach to ensure all students feel safe, valued and supported, while applying evidence-based, explicit teaching practices to maximise student engagement and progress. At Carnarvon CC, our contextualised Instructional model CIRCLE, works alongside our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework and Students at Educational Risk (SAER) processes to provide a consistent, supportive and purposeful approach to teaching and learning. The ability to teach General Psychology is advantageous.
