The Role

As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will ideally have the capacity to create a caring, engaging and inclusive learning environment that is responsive to diverse learning needs. You will use a trauma-informed approach to ensure all students feel safe, valued and supported, while applying evidence-based, explicit teaching practices to maximise student engagement and progress. At Carnarvon CC, our contextualised Instructional model CIRCLE, works alongside our PBS framework and Students at Educational Risk (SAER) processes to provide a consistent, supportive and purposeful approach to teaching and learning. The ability to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) mathematics is advantageous.
