Education Assistant - Special Needs

We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Pingelly Primary School (PS) is located approximately 160 kilometres south-east of Perth. The school is characterised by attractive gardens, extensive grounds and excellent facilities. For more than a century our school, both as a District High and Primary School, has provided quality education to local students and their families within a distinctive rural setting. Our Kindergarten to Year 6 students is provided with a range of high-quality educational programs, with the emphasis being placed on all children reaching their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Students' individual needs are met through a developmentally appropriate teaching and learning program. Students and staff are privileged to learn and work on such a large campus and have access to purpose built Computer, Science, Home Economics, Art and Music rooms. The school has a well-resourced library and an undercover area.
