PROFILE

Yarrambat Primary School serves the people in the surrounding area of Yarrambat, in particular housing estates along Yan Yean Road. 

The school wishes to provide the local community with an educational program that recognizes and supports all areas of the Victorian Curriculum and children's individual and collective talents. 

The school aims to match or exceed all state means and like school means.

These values are in granite on the school entrance and are displayed in every classroom. They were values chosen by parents, students and staff.

Every child at Yarrambat Primary School is entitled to a learning environment in which they feel confident and in which their learning needs are catered for. Each child is also entitled to a playground environment where they can play safely and interact confidently with other children.

The clear message being communicated to children is that they are responsible for their own behaviour. 

We share with parents the responsibility for the social, physical, emotional and academic progress of the children.
