Location Profile

Rangeview Primary School is situated in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.  Extensive development of our schools facilities and grounds have created engaging and contemporary learning spaces.

The 690 students enrolled reflect the diversity of cultural and social backgrounds within the local community. The school provides the breadth and diversity of programs for individuals at all levels. Rangeview demands and enjoys a highly dedicated and capable staff who are proactive and reflective in their orientation; an active and enthusiastic parent community; and an informed and committed School Council that is supported by its wide ranging and organised sub-committee structure. Significantly our students display considerable pride in our school and have high expectations of themselves and the way in which they achieve in all areas.  

Our aim is to constantly strive to improve the learning outcomes for students in an atmosphere that is caring and supportive and in which successes are shared and celebrated. The focus on a growth mindset and learner agency continues into the next School Strategic Plan. The other two goals are to maximise learner growth in literacy and numeracy and to develop confident, resilient students equipped to thrive in the contemporary world.
