Location Profile

Nhill College is an P-12 school which serves the township of Nhill and surrounding areas with a current enrolment of 240 students.

The curriculum covers all Domain areas with Indonesian as the LOTE study.  A wide range of VCE, Vocational Education studies and School Based Apprenticeships meet the learning needs of senior students.  The curriculum is complimented by debating, public speaking, academic competitions, music, a production/concert, a presentation ball, an extensive camps program emphasising leadership and personal development, visiting performances, guest speakers and a wide range of sporting and fitness opportunities. 

The School Wide Positive Behaviour Support Program has been embraced by the school community with the school recently being presented with the SWPBS Gold Award in recognition of our practices. Well-established staff and student wellbeing teams also exist to help support the positive culture that exists within the school.

The College enjoys a positive relationship with its community providing community access to its Sports Centre.  Several sporting clubs also use school facilities as their main base.  Service Clubs and local industry provide excellent support for a range of school programs.  An extremely strong and productive relationship with individual businesses and providers ensures optimum student access to vocational and apprenticeship studies.
