Location Profile

This role is a shared 0.8 FTE Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) to provide mental health and wellbeing support across Charlton College, Pyramid Hill College and Boort District P¿12 School. This would include one day in each school and an administration day. The three schools are rural schools serving students and families across the surrounding communities. The shared MHP will work alongside school leadership, teaching staff and existing wellbeing teams to provide accessible mental health support to students across all three schools.

Charlton College is a P-12 rural school located in Charlton, approximately 255 km north-west of Melbourne and 110 km west of Bendigo. The College operates across two campuses and is also the site of the North Central Trade Training Centre. In 2026, the school had an enrolment of approximately 120 students and 33 teaching and support staff.  The school provides education from Foundation through to Year 12 and offers VCE and VCE Vocational Major programs.

Pyramid Hill College is a small rural P¿12 school located on the northern plains of Victoria. The College serves students from Pyramid Hill and the surrounding farming and rural communities. The school currently has an enrolment of approximately 102 students, with 61 students in the primary cohort and 41 students in the secondary cohort.
