Education Support - Disability Inclusion Coordinator

Selection Criteria

1. Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience in supporting students with additional needs, including Disability Inclusion funding, processes and practices, and the provision of inclusive programs, adjustments and support within a school setting
2. Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records and meet competing deadlines in a complex school environment.
3. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with students, families, school staff, external agencies to support positive student outcomes.
4. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning and development, with the capacity to apply new knowledge, respond to emerging practices and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in Disability Inclusion

Role

Range 3 is distinguished by the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services. The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field. It seeks to gain cooperation of other staff members or members of the school community to achieve specific objectives, such as in school administration, operations or educational programs.
