SC1    Demonstrated experience working with financial systems, policies, governance, reporting, and process improvements to strengthen school performance, whilst remaining compliant with DE finance policies and procedures.

SC2    Demonstrated experience in managing human resources functions within a school environment, encompassing recruitment, staff development, performance management, and compliance with relevant policies.

SC3    Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders, including staff, students, families, School Council members, external service providers, and the wider school community. 

SC4    Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day school activities.

SC5    Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning and development, both personally and in supporting the growth and capability of colleagues across the school.

Role

Attendance requirement for this position:  8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

As a key member of Bundoora Secondary College¿s Executive Team, the Business Manager helps shape the school¿s strategic direction and oversees major portfolios that support student learning. The role leads and supports staff and key stakeholders across the school community to achieve objectives in administration, governance, financial management, and the effective use of physical and human resources.
