From Day 1, Term 1 2027, Walgett Community College will operate through a new educational model comprising a P–4 Primary School, a Years 5–8 Middle School and a Years 9–12 Senior School. All three schools form part of the Connected Communities Strategy and are located on Gamilaroi Country in north western NSW.
The P–4 Primary School is anticipated to enrol approximately 110 students, the Years 5–8 Middle School approximately 65 students, and the Years 9–12 Senior School approximately 60 students, with around 97% of students identifying as Aboriginal.
