Position Information
Swansea High School is a comprehensive, co–educational high school nestled in the picturesque seaside suburb of Caves Beach. In 2026 we have 730 students with 125 (17%) being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background. We have an expectation that every student, every teacher, and every support staff member will strive for improvement and excellence every year. Positive relationships and partnerships between the staff, students, parents and the local community are the cornerstones that enable Swansea High School to excel and be considered among the top performing high schools in NSW.
We have been recognised by the NSW Secretary for Education for outstanding learning growth in HSC in consecutive years (2022 and 2023). Our 2024 and 2025 HSC results were among the best in the school’s history with over 63% of results in the top 3 Bands.
