Grounds and Maintenance Officer

The Opportunity

St Augustine's Parish School is seeking a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer (Grade 3 ESO) to help maintain our buildings, grounds and facilities to a high standard. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming and well-presented environment for our students, staff and community.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain school grounds, gardens, lawns and outdoor areas.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance of buildings, equipment and facilities.
• Assist with the upkeep of playgrounds, sporting areas and irrigation systems.
• Support contractors and maintenance projects as required.
• Conduct routine safety checks and contribute to WHS compliance.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working order.

• Experience in grounds, gardening, maintenance or a related field.
